My name is Carrie Lafferty, PhD and I am a Research Study Coordinator at the University of Tennessee, College of Nursing. As the coordinator for the PEPP research study, I help develop the study materials, recruit participants, deliver the intervention and manage study data. I also managed the WISH intervention. I have over 10 years of experience in health behavior research including roles in project management, evaluation, needs assessment and grant writing on topics ranging from sexual health to smoking cessation and adolescent development. Most recently I have assisted Dr. Barton and Dr. Arring in the delivery of clinical trials for oncology symptom management, specifically sexual health, hot flashes, insomnia and cancer-related cognitive impairment.
